Rashmika Mandanna indirectly addresses marriage rumours after beau Vijay Deverakonda confirms he’s dating- Watch

While fans are excited to see Rashmika Mandanna return as Srivalli in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, they are equally – if not more, interested in knowing about her personal life. The actress recently attended the song launch of the film’s third song, Kissik in Chennai on Sunday and opened up about marriage. The actress’ statement comes just days after her rumoured beau, actor Vijay Deverakonda confirmed that he is in a relationship.

Rashmika Mandanna marriage rumours

During the Pushpa 2 song launch, the hosts asked Rashmika Mandanna whether she would prefer marrying someone from within the film industry or an outsider. As seen in the clip going viral on social media, the host asks the film’s leading lady, “Would you marry someone from the film industry or should your husband be someone from outside the industry? If you give us some clarity, we’ll find out you the boy.” Her answer resulted in the crowds erupting into big cheers

Tactfully answering the host, Ms Mandanna replied, “Everyone knows about it.” This answer left Allu Arjun and everyone in the hall in splits. . The continued, “I know what answer you want, I know it well.” On being further prodded to shed light on her coy answer – since he was ‘unaware’ about the reference, Rashmika replied, “Let’s not delve into that right now, I’ll tell you later, personally.” Watch the clip here:

Rashmika-Vijay relationship

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s dating rumours have been making news for quite a while now. Although they have maintained that they are merely friends, Vijay recently confirmed he is in a relationship. During a chat with Curly Tales, the ‘Arjun Reddy’ actor said, “I have (dated a co-star before). I’m 35, you think I would be single? We all have to (get married) at some point unless it’s a choice not to.”

Just a couple of days ago, pictures of Rashmika and Vijay on a secret lunch date were leaked online and they soon went viral. In the pictures, Rashmika can be seen wearing a blue crop top paired with denim jeans while Vijay opted for a blue and white shirt over a white west and a bucket cap. According to media reports, the picture was reportedly clicked during Vijay’s VD 12 shoot in Sri Lanka.
